Cookie Policy

Last Updated: July 23, 2026

This policy explains how 3Gold Technology uses cookies and similar browser technologies. Optional technologies are blocked until you allow the relevant category.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text records saved by a website or service in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, and other device storage. They can support a session, remember a choice, measure site use, or help measure advertising.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use necessary technologies to operate forms, sessions, security, and cookie choices. When enabled in the website settings, we may also use analytics or advertising services, but the website does not load those services until the corresponding permission is present. Continuing to browse is not treated as consent.

3. Cookie Categories

  • Strictly Necessary: required for basic operation, security, sessions, forms, and consent storage.
  • Preferences: optional settings that remember a visitor choice. No separate visitor preference service is currently implemented.
  • Analytics: optional measurement of website use and performance.
  • Advertising: optional advertising measurement, remarketing, pixels, tags, and non-essential custom code.

Cookie Settings shows an optional category only when a related service is actually configured.

4. Strictly Necessary Cookies

NameProviderPurposeTypical duration
PHPSESSID (or the PHP session name configured by the server)sz3gold.comSupports the contact-form session and short duplicate-submission interval. The administration area also uses a session cookie for authenticated administrators; that administrative use is not controlled by the public Cookie Banner.Browser session
3gold_cookie_consentsz3gold.comStores consent version, timestamp, and Necessary, Preferences, Analytics, and Advertising choices. It contains no name, email address, or IP address.Up to 12 months

5. Preference Technologies

The public site does not currently implement a separate optional visitor-preference cookie. The product catalog reads a first-party local-storage key used for administrator-provided page content; it is not used to identify or track visitors. If a visitor preference feature is introduced, it should be listed here and controlled through Cookie Settings where required.

6. Analytics Cookies

The administration settings support Google Analytics 4. If GA4 is enabled and you allow Analytics, Google’s tag may use the following first-party cookies. Configuration and provider changes can affect names or durations.

NameProviderPurposeDefault/typical duration
_gaGoogle AnalyticsDistinguishes users for site measurement.Up to 2 years
_ga_<container-id>Google AnalyticsPersists session state for a configured GA4 property.Up to 2 years

See Google’s GA4 tagging and cookie information.

7. Advertising Cookies

The administration settings support Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, and Google Tag Manager. GTM can deploy downstream tags, so it is treated as Advertising unless and until its container is separately audited. All arbitrary Head, Body Start, and Body End code is also treated as Advertising/Non-essential. When a configured service is permitted, cookies may include:

NameProviderPurposeTypical duration
_gcl_*Google Ads / Google tagsStores advertising click or conversion information when the relevant conversion-linking feature is configured.Varies by tag configuration and Google product
_fbpMetaIdentifies a browser for advertising delivery and measurement.Up to 90 days
bcookieLinkedInBrowser identifier used by LinkedIn, including for abuse detection and diagnostics on third-party sites with LinkedIn services.Up to 1 year

Provider details and names may change. See Google advertising cookie information, Meta’s Cookies Policy, and LinkedIn’s Cookie Table.

8. Third-Party Technologies

Third-party providers may receive IP address, browser or device information, page URL, referrer, event, and cookie or advertising identifiers when their service loads. Their processing is governed by their terms and privacy notices. Custom code can be configured by an administrator; because its behavior is not known in advance, the website blocks it under Advertising until permission is present. If a new provider is activated for ongoing use, this policy should be reviewed and updated with confirmed details.

9. Cookie Duration

Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their configured expiry, you delete them, or the provider replaces them. Provider durations may vary by account configuration, browser behavior, geography, or later provider changes.

10. Managing Preferences

On the first visit where optional technology is configured, you can Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Manage Preferences. Optional choices are off by default. Reopen to review or change your selection. Withdrawing a category that has already loaded causes a safe refresh so that the disabled scripts are removed from the active page; the current URL and supported contact-form values are preserved.

11. Browser Controls

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking all cookies may affect sessions, contact-form rate protection, saved choices, or other necessary features. Browser controls are separate from this website’s Cookie Settings.

12. Global Privacy Control

If the browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the website keeps Advertising technologies disabled. Necessary functions remain available. The signal does not automatically enable Analytics or any other optional category.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when technology, providers, or legal requirements change. The fixed “Last Updated” date will be revised when the policy changes. A material consent-model change may also use a new consent version and ask you to choose again.

14. Contact

Questions about cookies or privacy may be sent to [email protected]. See our Privacy Policy for additional information.
